About the VOEA
The Victorian Outdoor Education Association is the professional and subject association supporting teachers and instructors in the conduct of outdoor education in schools and other community organisations. It acts as a lobby for outdoor education in Victoria, provides a resource and advisory service for members, establishes and reviews curriculum, guidelines and standards in outdoor education and promotes a philosophy of environmental awareness, conservation and positive attitudes towards the natural environment.
The VOEA supports its members through newsletters and journals, conferences, an extensive professional development programme, book sales, consultancy and network links. The VOEA supports the Wilderness Enhanced Program Network and the Corporate Adventure Training Network. VOEA is affiliated with the Australian Outdoor Education Council and is a member of the Joint Council of Subject Associations of Victoria.
